Probing the Limits
Definition of 'Unconventional Electronic Imaging Device'

For the purposes of QCUIAG, an unconventional electronic imaging device is a device that is manufactured and marketed primarily for purposes other than astronomical imaging.

This would include such devices as surveillance video cameras, video-conferencing cameras, standard digital cameras and camcorders, machine-vision cameras and their derivatives.

Also included will be any astronomical CCD or CMOS cameras that come into being as a result of the innovative activities of this group.
